Find the hours of day where Amazon PPC is leaking money.

DayPart is a free Amazon PPC day-parting analyzer built by Lynx Media. Upload your Sponsored Products hourly report; the tool maps spend, conversions, and ROAS by hour of day and recommends bid multipliers so you stop paying the same bid at 3am as you do at 3pm.

Built for $1M+ FBA brands where ad spend is significant enough that even a 15% bid-multiplier shift translates to real dollars. If you're at $20k+/mo on Sponsored Products, day-parting is usually one of the fastest TACOS wins on the table.

How it works

  1. Pull your Amazon Sponsored Products report at the hourly granularity (Seller Central → Advertising → Reports → Sponsored Products → Campaign report → 1-hour time unit).
  2. Upload the CSV. Everything runs locally in your browser — your data never leaves your device.
  3. The tool aggregates by hour of day, computes ROAS / TACOS / conversion rate per hour, and identifies the dead hours (high spend, low conversions).
  4. Export a bid-multiplier schedule. Paste into Seller Central's day-part feature or use it as a manual bid-adjustment guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is day-parting actually worth doing?

Only at scale. Below $10k/mo in ad spend the data is too noisy. Above $20-30k/mo, the hourly variance becomes statistically meaningful and bid-multiplier shifts can move TACOS by 1-3 points. Our blog post covers when it matters and when it's noise.

What hourly window does it need?

Minimum 14 days; 28-30 days is ideal. Less than 14 days and the per-hour data is too thin to act on.

Is this really free? No email gate?

Genuinely free, no email gate. We publish free tools as a demonstration of the operating discipline we apply to client accounts. If you want our team to actually run the day-part audit + restructure, that's our paid service.

Does my data leave my browser?

No. The CSV is parsed and analyzed locally with JavaScript. Nothing uploads to our servers.

What if my account doesn't show hourly granularity?

You need a Sponsored Products account at a certain spend level for Amazon to allow hourly export — typically $1k+/mo. If you don't see the 1-hour option, day-parting probably isn't worth doing yet anyway.
